Pawstock 5 was great!

Pawstock is always a great fundraiser for Thundering Paws, but it is also much more. It gives us a chance to get together with supporters and fellow volunteers for an afternoon of socialization. The Thundering Paws dogs, Maggie and Sweet Pea, really enjoyed their adventure.

A couple of Thundering Paws' cats were also in attendance, and made some new friends. (For more Pawstock 5 photos, click here.)

This year's Pawstock got off to a little bit of a late start, due to an unfortunate double-booking snafu at Opal Divine's. But once the Therapy Sisters took the stage, we were off and running. Wow, what a great combination of talent, from traditional tunes to exotic dancing! Entertainment was provided by the Therapy Sisters with Gail March, Lisa Brown and Pat Reed, Mike Pennington and Cotton Inks, and belly dancer Michelle Sefcik. We are so fortunate to have these generous and talented people as friends and supporters.

The silent auction was a big success, many thanks to all those who contributed. Click here for a list of silent auction donors. Thanks also to the hard-working volunteers who make it all possible, and especially everyone who joined us at Pawstock 5. We'll see you again next year!
