Update on Gonzo

After a number of vet visits, medications to control respiratory and intestinal problems, and extra food each day, Gonzo the gray tabby has put on weight, and seems happier.  He will continue on two daily medicines for colitis/IBD.  Here are pictures of him about a month apart.

In the first picture, notice how his shoulder blades stick out, and his abdomen is sunken toward his spine; he was underweight.  He has gained weight in the second picture:

Sponsor Velma

Velma came to us from the Animal Trustees of Austin. She's a friendly kitty who gets along well with others. She has classy black and white markings, a very beautiful girl. Velma is very dependent on her kitty friends at Thundering Paws and does not do well when tried in a new home.

Sponsor Tucker

Tucker came to us a shy kitten, and he's still not the most outgoing of cats. But he is very handsome and talkative. He'll especially talk to you if there's a chance of getting some yummy canned cat food. He loves to spend time with his kitty friends at the sanctuary.

Tucker has one sponsor, but he could use another. To sponsor him, start here:

Sponsor Towanda

Towanda is a very large healthy black cat with an independent spirit. She doesn't care much for interaction with humans, and is content to go her own way at the sanctuary. She does have some cat friends in her area of the house and has a quiet happy life at Thundering Paws.

Sponsor Sierra

Sierra was a feral kitten running around the back yard of a friend of Thundering Paws. One day our friend noticed that Sierra was dragging her right front leg behind her. It took two weeks of diligent effort, but Sierra was finally trapped and taken to the vet, who examined her and believed she had been hit by a car. Since there was too much nerve damage to save the leg, it was amputated. Sierra came to Thundering Paws and was tamed. She gets around just fine on three legs and is a very sweet kitty.

Sponsor Prince

Prince was an apartment complex stray before coming to Thundering Paws. He's gorgeous and friendly with people, but he has one very bad habit (spraying) that makes him not adoptable. Even though he marks everything (he can't help himself), we are very fond of Prince.

Prince has one sponsor, but more is always better when it comes to sponsorship. Can you help sponsor Prince? To sponsor him, start here:
