Amplify Austin

Amplify Austin was founded by I Live Here I Give Here in 2013 and is the biggest day of giving in Central Texas. For 24 hours, March 2-3, 2022, Amplify Austin brings our entire community together to give to local nonprofits.

In 2021, 1,809 individuals raised more than $1.3M for local nonprofits by creating their own, unique and personalized Amplify Austin fundraiser page! We invite you to create your own fundraising page to show your support of Thundering Paws.

Become an AmplifyATX Fundraiser

  1. Go to Amplify ATX, amplifyatx.org.
  2. Click on “Search Nonprofits” and enter “Thundering Paws.”
  3. Scroll down the page to our name if you need to.
  4. Click on our name which will take you to our page and profile.
  5. If you need to, scroll down to click on “Fundraise.”
  6. Fill in your first and last name, and a campaign name if you want one – you can add this later via the dashboard on GiveGab if you choose.
  7. Enter your email and create a password. If you have used GiveGab before, use that email and password.
  8. Click on “Submit.”
  9. Click on the “Manage Profile” button in the upper right portion of the screen. This will take you to givegab.com (GiveGab is a fundraising management site used by Amplify Austin and many other fundraising events.)
  10. Enter the same email and password you used above.
  11. You should now see your fundraising page.
  12. Click on the down arrow in the upper right corner by your name.
  13. Click on “Personal Dashboard” to see all your fundraiser.
  14. Click on the “Dashboard” button in the Thundering Paws Amplify Austin Day 2022 box where you can track progress against your goal and manage your fundraiser.
  15. Select Tell Your Story to change your campaign name, change your $ goal, add an image and write a story as to why you support Thundering Paws.
  16. Select “Make a Donation” to contribute to your fundraiser.
  17. Select “Reach Out” if you would like to send an email to friends and family to increase visibility for your fundraiser.
  18. Select “Share Socially” to post your fundraiser on Twitter or Facebook directly from the page.
  19. Select “Give Thanks” to see the people who donated and send them a thank you.

To get back to your fundraising page after you have logged out:

  1. Go to amplifyatx.org.
  2. In the upper right corner, click on “Menu” and scroll down to select login. If you do not see the login option on the menu, you may have to reduce the size of your window using the zoom-out function of your browser.
  3. After you have logged in, click on the down arrow in the upper right corner by your name. You will see a preference for “Personal Dashboard.” Click on that.
  4. Click on the “Dashboard” button in the Thundering Paws Amplify Austin Day 2022 box where you can track your progress against your goal and manage your fundraiser.
