Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a management technique in which homeless, free-roaming community cats are humanely trapped, evaluated and sterilized by a licensed veterinarian, vaccinated against rabies, and then returned to their original habitat. It saves cats’ lives and is effective in controlling overpopulation. TNR improves the lives of cats, addresses community concerns, reduces complaints about cats, and stops the breeding cycle.
We have created the Thundering Paws Trapping Instruction Guide to help you safely and efficiently trap community cats in our Trap-Neuter-Return Program. If you would like to become a TNR volunteer with Thundering Paws, contact us or visit us at the west end of the parking lot at Tractor Supply in Dripping Springs the second Saturday of each month at 12:30 p.m. We will have a TruCatch trap on-site to demonstrate how to use it.
