Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Charlotte

[ Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Charlotte ]

Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Charlotte are 3 adoptable kittens in Wimberley, Texas.  They have  Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a developmental disorder.  Jeremiah is smallest and had to be bottle fed supplementally the longest. He is eating and drinking well with some help and can use the litterbox with help. He is a tenacious and independent-spirited little thing!   Ezekiel is the largest of the three kitties and walks the steadiest. His head tremors are more like wild swings when he’s excited or upset. He is eating pretty well and has learned how to drink water from a bowl. He uses the litter box pretty well too.  Looks like his eyes might be green—too cute!   Charlotte is eating and drinking well with some help and can use the litterbox with help. She has made a lot of progress but has a ways to go. She has a tenacious spirit.

To learn more, and to meet them, contact Thundering Paws.   The 3 black kitties live with their siblings (or possibly cousins) Jessie, Lewis, and Jonie, also adoptable:

Too meet any of them, contact Thundering Paws, and please complete our adoption application.

Tulip the kitten

Just back from spay surgery on Thursday, Tulip the kitten dove under her bed to recover from the stress of travel, then came out to say hello.  Look for Tulip at our Sunday adoption event.  You might have to look under the bed! But don’t let that fool you – she is is energetic and engaging in her foster home.

Update on Bijou

Good news for Bijou! After a few weeks on a new diet, his health symptoms have improved dramatically. When he came to us, Bijou had chronic diarrhea, so bad that he had to be bathed daily. Medicine and excellent care by our staff has made a big difference, and now, thanks to prescription food, he’s finally producing solid poop.

In September 2019, Bijou was homeless, shunned and harassed. Outdoor cats in our area are dependent on people for survival. Even when well, and with good hunting skills, a cat in Central Texas needs food from people. So Bijou was in trouble. He started hanging out at a house; the owner wanted him gone, but didn’t want him harmed, either. Fortunately, at that time we had the resources to take him. Thank you, adopters, fosters, and donors!

Bijou hates the outdoors, probably because of the harassment that he has experienced. He needs a good home, and continued special care including prescription food. He loves being petted, as you can see in this video. If you’d like to consider fostering or adopting, contact Thundering Paws.

Help special-needs cats like Bijou with with a lifesaving donation.
